Day 3 - Sat 29/4 - Pembrokeshire Coast National Park
Depart CARMARTHEN 9am. Arrive ABERYSTWYTH 8pm.
Departing 9am prompt from the High Street, Carmarthen, SA31 3AE.
PLEASE ARRIVE WITH A FULL TANK OF FUEL.
We follow the coastline westward on a variety of back lanes to A roads, and finally arrive at the town of Tenby at 11am for a photo shoot on the quayside. An opportunity for local bikers to join the event.
We continue along the coastline to loop at Angle and return to reach our lunch stop at 'The Stateside Diner' in Pembroke Town at 1pm. We depart 1-30pm, and refuel at Pembroke Dock to continue the amazing coastal scenic route and its network of lanes. We reach the smallest welsh city of St Davids at 4pm for fuel & a brief stop.
Heading north we follow the coastline along the most intricate sections of the perimeter of Wales. The slowest section of the perimeter - north of Cardigan (19 miles in 1hour).. Finally, we reach an A road and a final half hour spurt north. We conclude the day at Aberystwyth 8pm.
Our suggested accommodation is the Bellevue Hotel, Aberystwyth, on the promenade. Again this hotel will fill quickly. Many other B&B and camping in and outside town, but remember it is a bank holiday - Book Early!
